Terms of service
Last updated: [effective date]
These terms apply to GarageSuite, a workshop management service for vehicle repair shops, provided by [Legal entity] (ABN [ABN]), [address] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using GarageSuite, you agree to them. If you use it for a shop, you confirm you're allowed to accept them for that shop.
1. The closed beta
GarageSuite is in a closed, invitation-only beta. During the beta:
- it's free;
- features may change, break or be removed, and we don't promise any uptime or support response time;
- your shop's data is kept when the paid service starts. We'll tell you the prices before you're asked to pay anything, and you can stop at any time and ask us to delete your shop.
2. Your account
- The shop's owner is responsible for the account and for the technicians they invite.
- Keep your password private. Each account is for one person.
- You must be 18 or older and use GarageSuite for a business.
3. Your shop's data
- Your shop's data (your customers, vehicles, jobs, photos, documents and the rest) is yours. You allow us to store and process it only to provide GarageSuite to you.
- You're responsible for having the right to enter your customers' details, and for using them lawfully.
- Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
4. Emails to your customers are real
- When you tick "Send reminder?" on a job, your customer gets a real appointment reminder by email, sent from our address under your shop's name.
- Send reminders only to customers who agreed to be contacted by email.
- Every reminder carries an unsubscribe link, and we honour it.
- We limit how many customer emails a shop can send each day.
- Technician invites you send by email are real emails too.
5. Your documents
The estimates, invoices, receipts, inspections and reports GarageSuite produces are your shop's documents, and you're responsible for their tax and legal content. In Argentina they aren't fiscal invoices: they carry the "X" mark (not valid as an invoice).
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- send spam, or use GarageSuite to contact people who haven't agreed to it;
- store unlawful content;
- try to reach another shop's data, probe or overload the service, or get around its limits;
- resell or copy the service.
7. Feedback
If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely, without owing you anything.
8. Ending
- You can ask us to close your shop at any time, at support@garagesuite.app.
- We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. We'll tell you why when we can.
- When a shop is closed, we delete its data as our Privacy policy says.
9. Liability
- During the free beta, GarageSuite is provided as it is, to the extent the law allows.
- Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law, that can't be excluded.
- To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to [amount, e.g. AUD 100].
10. Changes
We'll tell you by email or in the app before a change to these terms that matters to you takes effect.
11. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of [State], Australia.
